Groundhog Day
This morning felt a bit like the movie Groundhog Day which was a bit unsettling but just as it was becoming uncomfortable the guy who works at Einstein's Bagels offers to pay for Jerry's and my coffee just to be nice as we were headed to the hospital. There's that random act of kindness thing again that at that fragile moment brought me to tears and brightened my day. We look forward to seeing John tomorrow morning when we go in to get our coffee and bagel en route.....
Progress report: They are elevating Warren 10 degrees every hour. We can't imagine how good it feels not to be totally flat on our back. He is even sleeping more restfully as a result. He continues to check out with flying colors with all the doctors. It is just a waiting game until the surgery on Friday and waiting for swelling to go down so nerves have more room to do their thing and we can all see what we are really dealing with.
Catie arrived last night and that is probably the best medicine for Warren right now. For those who do not know, Catie is the love of his life ( I happily take second place :-) ) and they both seem to be more at peace now that they are together.
The emails, the texts, voicemails, twitters, facebook comments - EVERYTHING is overwhelming and so supportive. You will never know what every single message and act of kindness does for all of us. There is no doubt in our minds it is all making a difference in his healing process. Thank you, not just from the bottom of our hearts, but with our complete hearts.
We are saving everything to share with Warren when he is more alert. Ah, remember I mentioned the 10 degree elevation every hour? Warren has found the button......need I say more. :-)
See you tomorrow.

Thank you for starting this blog to keep us all informed. I know I don't have to tell you, but you have an amazing son. Please give him a kiss from Laura & Blaine.
Another thank you for starting this blog. Warren, Catie, and all of his family have constantly been in my thoughts since this happened. I cannot wait until he can be transported back here so that everyone can see you guys. Best wishes and stay strong. You have an amazing son. And something tells me he will always fight tooth and nail to get better.
Stay strong friends
Please tell Warren he is as strong as he wants to be. So much of healing is in presence of mind; and he is one of the smartest, most gifted SOBs I've ever met. I can't wait to see his cheerful smile again. Make him do the "goat" to his nurses, they'll love it!! Peace to all of you during this worrisome time. Our hearts and love are with you all, and Warren. Love, Blaine
Love and hugs to you all. Warren has the Cleary stuff you all have, hang tough and keep the faith. it will be a long recovery but it will be a recovery. One small step at a time.

I'm not one of Warren's closest friends, but I do know him & he helped celebrate my 100th jump by doing a belly ball jump with me. Oh yeah, and he was kind enough to smash a plate full of whip cream between my you know what! =) But then again, that's Wayron! Wishing you a speedy recovery brother, I know you have what it takes to pull through; especially with such great support from Catie and your friends & family. Until then, always in my prayers!
Arne

We love you... You gave a 7 year old little boy a picture of you doing a very cool jump. His response was, "wow that's cool, when can I do that"? When that day happens you are the only one that I want with him:) Plus your dad and I had a bet!
We love you,
Lesley, Susan and Gus
